Chamber music concerts and talks series COME PRIMA offers its audience chamber music of various epoques and styles in a very special listening format – cosy atmosphere, talks and performances for friends, offering to return to the very beginnings of chamber music. Come Prima is a music term in Italian, meaning: just as in the beginning, just as before. Thanks to a special atmosphere and exciting stories told by musicologists, the listeners have a chance to get closer to the intimate art of chamber music, enjoy its various interpretation nuances, performances by different musician line-ups, and get acquainted with musician personalities. Collaboration with radio show hosts of Latvian Radio 3 “Klasika” and musicologists grants a rich and exciting journey into the world of chamber music.
In 2020 the chamber music concerts and talks series Come Prima consists of six new programs, offering chamber music of a musically and geographically wide spectrum, played by interesting artistic bands, as well as a new, established especially for this series, international collaboration between Latvian and foreign musicians.
